The "sword" is one of the ties for the
wreath, and you can see its opposite number on the other
side of the
mintmark, just above and to the right of the
star. The "i" is actually a gamma,
, but the top is not very large. So the
mintmark is Gamma
SIS star.
Helvetica's spreadsheets tell me this is
RIC VII Siscia 161.
The
star is more than just a spacer - it's one of the control marks used by the
mint, that helps distinguish the different production runs. The gamma is the mark used by
officina number three.
