Hey everyone,
I finally got around to creating a reference poster (of sorts) for the anonymous classes based on coins in my collection.

FYI - the Class A 'phases' are based on my research in the series that has not yet been published. However, they are similar to the Class A 'issues' found in a 1989 paper by Vujadin Ivanisevic titled "Interpretation and Dating of the Folles of Basil II and Constantine VIII - The Class A Folles' target='_blank'>Class A2."  In that paper, Dr Ivanisevic analyzes Class A1 and Class A Folles' target='_blank'>Class A2 (which includes Class A Folles' target='_blank'>Class A3), proposing that Class A can be broken into 5 distinct chronological 'issues' - Class A1 and then 4 issues of Class A Folles' target='_blank'>Class A2. He also identifies which Class A Folles' target='_blank'>Class A2 varieties belong in each issue.  It is an exceptional analysis, particularly with the data available at the time.

I hope this is a useful resource for some of you.

Very helpful chart for these coins; thank you.

They look like exceptionally nice examples as well.

This is great. We should work it into a numiswiki page!

I agree...very nice chart, and the coins too.

One minor suggestion.....lose the black background and go with something lighter.  Perhaps a green or other more neutral color.

Personally I like the black background.  It makes the coins, which are otherwise quite dark, pop.

Thank you for the suggestions. I could create a couple versions - one with white background and the other with black. That would not be hard. I’ll look at that once I am back from vacation.

Also, I forgot to note that the photos are to scale relative to one another.

Here's another version with a white background and the photos a little lighter.
