Might you know the meaning of the star found on the reverse of this AE Follis of Aelia Flaccilla?

I moved this message here as this is about a regular imperial Roman issue coin, not a Roman provincial coin.

It is Flacilla's SALVS REIPVBLICAE type, which was struck 385-387 AD at all of the eastern mints.

The star and cross are really just an issue mark used by the mint of Heraclea.  This type is found without any field mark at most mints and with a chi-rho in the right field at Constantinople.  It is also found at Heracles with the cross but not the star.
