Small Silver Coin with Horn Silver from Caesarea Maritima
« on: March 27, 2020, 05:02:32 pm »
Hi all.  here is a very sad coin, which was probably once very valuable, probably found at Caesarea Maritima.  It is almost completely destroyed by horn silver but I am hoping it can at least be identified for date and type.  It is about the size of a quinarius, but I don't know if it is Roman or Greek.  Thanks for any ideas.  V-drome

Obv: Crested? or Female? Bust right.
Rev: Wreath? with nothing visible within,
or at least nothing I can recognize.
Severly corroded with horn silver.
