It's not very often that I'm able to add a new Titus denarius to my collection I don't already have. When I do, personally, it is a cause for celebration!
With that in mind, I wish to share this really charming denarius recently acquired: https://www.forumancientcoins.com/gallery/displayimage.php?pos=-123052

Nice addition David, congrats! I have the right facing portrait of this type. It never occurred to me to find a left facing until now LOL :D

Thank you Jay and quadrans for the kind words.
The denarii of Titus have a special place in my collection, ever since the late Harry Sneh inspired me to systematically collect them. It's always an extreme pleasure to add one of these long sought after Titus types.

Hi David ,
Titus is also one of my favourit ..
Your collection are more systematic than mine, focus on the Flavians.. ;) +++

A very interesting coin David. Thanks for sharing it. :)

Thanks for the compliments!
Of interest, I wish to post the two inscriptions that date Titus' IMP XIIII I cited in my gallery notes.
The first is a letter Titus addressed to the city of Munigua, Spain on 7 September, and the second a military diploma from Egypt dated 8 September.
