Hi Pekka

Very interesting seal indeed!

You are right reading  :Greek_Theta: :Greek_epsilon: :Greek_Omicron: :Greek_Delta: :Greek_omega_small: :Greek_Rho: :Greek_Alpha:
and then ΒΑCΙΛ(HCH). Then perhaps TH and then clearly ΠΟΡΦΥΡΟΓΕΝ(N)ΗΤH (or  :Greek_omega_small:)?. So, Theodora Porphyrogenneta. But there are some issues with the grammar. I will check this evening and come back.

Best wishes
Iolkia

iolkia:
Or perhaps
„ΘΕΟΔΩΡΑ ΒΑCΙΛΕΩC MTH (for MHTHP) ΠΟΡΦΥΡΟΓΕΝΗΤΩ»?
and thus the title porphyrogenetos goes to the Emperor and son Of this Theodora?
Could she perhaps be Theodora the daughter of Alexios A?

I am just thinking loudly. Pity we can‘t have better pics.
