Hi IS2,

It looks like there is a countermark on both sides of your coin. One of those countermarks looks like several pellets.

Those types of coins were typically countermarked. For example, the Genoese colonists at Caffa often countermarked those types of coins. I have a few of them. Obviously, the countermarks on your coin were not applied by Genoese colonists.
