Help me identify this coin!
« on: July 10, 2023, 07:44:05 am »
I bought a hoard of uncleaned Roman and Greek coins, and they all came together in one package. This coin was covered in so much rust and gunk that nothing was visible. After careful (yes, some parts got scratched) cleaning, I was able to get this far before stopping from further damaging the coin. But I still have no idea what coin this is, and would really appreciate help in identifying it. Attached are the obverse and reverse pics

Thanks John! The issue is, as you can see in the pictures posted, the condition is quite worn out and can't identify anything on it :(
