Trouble with provincial with Nike/Victory
Blayne W:
Picked up this one, I thought it should be easy but I seem to be hitting a blank.
Measures 25.3MM and 7.9G
Looks like the reverse is Nike Standing right with wreath. I believe part of the legend is ΕΙΚΟΠ
Also any idea on what the countermark is.
Thanks,
Blayne
Akropolis:
Commodus struck, I think, at Nikomedia/Nicomedia
No idea on the counter mark.

mauseus:
Hi,
It is a coin from Nicomedia in Bithynia. I think it is Commodus, somewhat similar to this but the bust type looks be an unlisted variant.

Blayne W:
Thank you Akropolis and Mauseus for the help always appreciate it.
Tom Mullally:
Yes, Commodus as Caesar from Nicomedia. This type is indeed unpublished in RPC. Please add it to RPC when you can. Thanks, Tom.
