Ex Dick Ford Zinc Estate Token, Ceylon?
« on: May 05, 2021, 10:00:28 am »
Dear members:

I am posting a token hoping Exonumia experts would provide some information. It's holed uniface Zinc or lead token, 27mm in diameter and weighs 6.1g. On one side it has VK  SLB with #1 within a hatched circle in the middle. It was listed as part of the Dick Ford Collection in Taisei-Baldwin-Gillio Auction (Singapore) Catalog#19, 1995,  Lot #295.   Unfortunately I do not have a copy of this catalog. If someone can identify this token or send me a scan of lot 295 from the catalog, it would greatly help me. It could be an unlisted Ceylon token during British rule.
Thanks!

Clearly something modern. Someone here might be able to help but it is outside the area of expertise here.
