hi,

would u pleas help me about the attached Byzantine seal?

dimensions: diameter 30 mm , 3 mm thick... almost 10-12 gr weight, lead.

well i wonder its period, the meaning of inscription and its current value.. i ll be thankful if u help..

Unfortunately this seal is not good preserved, but in my opinion : 

Av:   :Greek_Theta:  :Greek_epsilon::Greek_Delta: O K  :Greek_epsilon: B O H  :Greek_Theta:  :Greek_epsilon: I  ( Mother of God help me ....)     

Re:  ............. PATPIKIO  ( the name of the owner ,  patrician ). 

Dated  VII- IX sentury.
