40 degrees here now, in the negatives tomorrow-gotta love New England... here is a coin, thin at the exploded end 12:00 obverse, and cracked there. The legible legend to the left reads IMP GALLOY... OR IMP CALLOY, OR IMP C ALLOY; the remaining legend is doubled and weak. The reverse reads from the left around the round object COL and maybe ONA after that. METRO is pretty clear at the opposite. There is a two-lined legend on the circular object. The diameter is 1" exactly across. It doesn't fit the mold of anything that I can find. Any ideas?

Hi,

It's Volusian from Damascus, RPC IX 1964. The reverse is an agonistic crown containing a palm and inscribed; below, ram’s head.
