Solidus Honorius - what RIC nr?
« on: December 28, 2021, 04:59:31 am »
Hello everybody,
my coin research on gold Roman coins from The Netherlands is going great, already many new founds registered. I collaborate with this project: https://chre.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/ (and with the Dutch universities and PAN: https://www.portable-antiquities.nl/pan/#/public).

For the below solidus from Honorius (http://www.roman-emperors.org/honorius.htm) I could use some help. Is it RIC X. 1287, 1309 or 1319-1329? I'm not familiar to the variation types A-E (p. 333). Mass not yet known. It's a find from Harfsen in the province of Gelderland.

PS: a tip for creating a quick and easy white background for coins is this free and online tool: https://www.fococlipping.com/clip.
