Reference for Gallienus
« on: November 20, 2021, 02:14:02 pm »

Approx.  4.00g.

I was also unlucky to find an example for this Miletus mint of Gallienus.

Thank you for your help and time.

If I read the reverse legend correctrly (MEIΛHCIΩN) it points to Milet. Might be  Apollo Didymeus.

There is no doubt that this is the Miletus mint of Gallienus Ralf.
Probably a unique piece as no reference examples has emerged so far!

Solon,

It appears to be SNG Munich 787.  Very rare.
