Help with Identifying Greek Bronze
« on: December 04, 2021, 07:30:50 pm »
Weight 2.42 grams and diameter 14 cm

Looks like a winged caduceus but I can't find a coin with that reverse. Anyone able to identify?

Wildwinds has a coin from Korykos, Cilicia that has a winged caduceus and a curly design like yours, called an aphlaston, but the lettering doesn't fit. That might at least tell you what to look for: http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/greece/cilicia/korykos/SNGLev_804.jpg
