Countermarked coin
« on: June 02, 2003, 08:05:07 am »
This coin I acquired last Saturday. The host coin is worn smooth on both sides, but the countermarks are very clear. Neither perfectly matches anything listed in Howgego. The coin is about 25 mm. Has anyone come across these before?
