Bronze judean with lyre?
« on: February 28, 2007, 07:24:59 pm »
Im relatively new to judean coins, and this falls far outside my skill.  I believe its judean, (I bought it in a judean lot) but dont know much more about it.  The obverse (top left pic) appears to be a lyre or something, but its hard to tell.  The reverse (top right) is mainly a lot of dots, but it almost looks like a bunch of grapes.  the dots are hard to see, but some look like letters. In the bottom pic I picked out the letters, as they are hard to see in the other pics, though the last one on the left might not be one as that part of the coin is pitted.  any guesses or indentification help would be great  :)
