Geta MINERVA
« on: April 20, 2013, 06:41:00 am »
I would like to share this coin of Geta.

GETA  CAES  PONT  COS
Youth's bare-headed bust draped right

MINE_RVA
Minerva standing half-left, leaning on shield
and holding reversed spear.

2.97g     Rome AD 205  or RIC 203-208??

Listed as scarce in RIC this reverse type with the obverse legend GETA CAES PONT COS
does seem very hard to find?

The VOTA PVBLICA type is very easy to find and so now I am looking
for one of the other reverse, FELICITAS AVGG.

Dear Lerian,
nice denarius.
The proper classification is: RIC 30, RSC 78

The green area on the observe deserves attention.

Best regards,
Marcelo Leal.
