My first purchase with FORVM

Almost 10 years after my registration, i'm pleased to present my first purchase with Forvm  ;D

A somewhat rare stater of Kroton of the spread incuse coinage series with a heron as a symbol on obverse and reverse.

Thanks to Joe and his team , all went very well for the shipping to France  +++

It has joined my incuse coins from Magna Graecia. I'm also gradually uploading the photos of my collection on the Forvm member's gallery.

Nice coin, I was also looking at that one.  Over the years, most of my better coins have been purchased from Joe.  I have a dollar limit for ebay; rather low; anything over that I generally look to  buy from Joe. Never been disappointed.

Congratulations!

I love Magna Graecia coins, but I don't particularly care for the incused types.

I recently received a Kroton coin with a heron symbol. I haven't posted it in my website yet.
