I am sincerely flattered.
And no one's more grateful to you than one like me, who began with coins at an age when I had to choose what to study, and it was Greek and Latin rather than Hebrew or other NW Semitic that I already knew.

I have it easier then you, I would think, because I knew Hebrew (
biblical as well as modern) previously, as mentioned. I can figure out Aramaic quite easily, and have many Aramaic references handy (e.g. Targum Onkelos, Talmud Bavli, etc.) Using this knowledge and information I can learn some alphabets and read and understand many Levantine languages.
I would have much more trouble decoding ancient Greek or Latin.
