ID help, Maybe Coritani?
Massanutten:
I don't collect Celtic, but the looks and price of this little coin were too good to pass up. It's a silver half-unit, .9 gm, 9.3 mm.
A correcct attribution would be most appreciated and your advise as to how to properly describe the obv and rev.
Thanks and best regards, Bob

I'll hazard a guess: De La Tour 10058, Boii north of the Po (if I understand the translation). Can't find a picture on the web.

Hi,
The reverse is a stylised horse, I believe.

Took awhile, but finally found what I was looking for. De La Tour had a line drawing, but no description. See CNG 31, Sept 1994, Lots 8-10. The Boii, Circa 200-150 BC, AR Unit (0.88, 0.88 and 0.91 gms). Obverse blank/Horse left, torque below, pellet above. G. Dembsky, MongXXXI, 1 (1991), S.6; Lanz Sale 60 (11, June 1992), lot 22. All listed in GVF and estimated at $100 each, all sold for $110 each plus buyer's fees).
