Red patina = fake?
« on: September 27, 2022, 07:55:59 pm »
I am sure that this question is a softball for your seasoned numismatists...but I am new to the hobby. Does the red patina on these coins look authentic or are they fakes? The encrustations on top of the patina has me leaning toward authentic. Thoughts? Thank you!!!

The patina is authentic. I have several with red patinas and impressions of other coins from being stuck together for so long.
