ID Help Jewish Coin

This coin is 25 mm, weighs 16 grams (quite hefty), and was purchased in Jordan near Petra.  I am new to this and haven't been able to find a match for this coin as either legitimate or fake.  What I am assuming is the reverse appears to be the facade of the temple at Jerusalem, similar to some of the Bar Kokhba coins.  I am grateful for any help that can be provided.
