Hi solon,

The obverse portrait looks Julio-Claudian. I suspect it is Augustus (obverse) and one of his grandsons or a magistrate (reverse).

The legends on your example aren't very clear, which makes it difficult to find an exact match. However, on your example, at the 9:00 position in the first photo, I think I see a possible partial legend match to the acsearch Temnos coin.

Can you see the legends any more clearly in hand?

I believe this is probably the Temnos coin of Asinius Gallus, as you might have guessed.
