Argenteus z Siscji (not in RIC and not in Gautier)

Argenteus Maksymiana Herkuliusza z Siscji. Monetka niezbyt efektowna i łatwo ją przeoczyć. Ale tej odmiany (brama z 4 wieżyczkami + legenda rewersu PROVIDENTIA) nie ma nie tylko w RIC, lecz także w grubej, ciężkiej (i bardzo przez to nieporęcznej) niedawno wydanej księdze Georgesa Gautiera o srebrze z czasów tetrarchii: Le monnayage en argent de la réforme de Dioclétien (294-312 p.C.), (Bordeaux 2021).

Musi to więc być spora rzadkość.

Tak z ciekawości - miał go Pan wcześniej, czy teraz go Pan znalazł? Jeśli to pierwsze, to naprawdę dziwne, że przy pisaniu takiej cegły autor nie sięgnął do Pana strony.

Świeżutkie znalezisko. A papierowa cegła (naprawdę ogrom pracy!) ledwie po roku już niekompletna. Taki to los katalogów z papieru.

Przynajmniej tyle, że nie była nieaktualna w momencie druku bo autor nie zajrzał do Pana bazy :-)
