Sicily Syracuse?? Authentic?

Dear Friends

Please help me out on this coin here. I had seen this here and there and all I can remember it was an AE (something) of Syracuse, Sicily. I have looked on Wildwinds and I could not find a direct match, since my Hippocamp looks a little impaired, which made me question this coins authenticity, eventhough the patination looks real. I would appreciate some help here.

Yes, the lines look too sharp for a bona fide Syracuse issue, though the type's not uncommon, so why counterfeit?
