Help ID Herennius Etruscus Sestertius

(1/1)

Tanit:
Hi

I think that this is a sestertius of Herrenius Etruscus.

Obv: [Q HER ET]R MES DECIVS [NOB C]
Rev: PRINCIPI IVVEN[TVTIS]

But reverse is different from the one that I found in CoinArchives.

Do I make a mistake about emperor?

Thanks

Rupert:
No, you're certainly right about Herennius. There are different variations of this type:
RIC 171 is "Herennius standing left, holding wand and spear"
RIC 172 "holding standard and spear"
RIC 173 "holding wand and sceptre".
Yours would have to be RIC 172 then.

Best regards,

Rupert

Tanit:
Thank you very much, Rupert.
