CONSTANTINE I - LONDON MINT?

Hello again!

Another post -- Don't know why my scanner is not giving me usual crip images... must check.

Is this coin indeed a London Mint coin?  Looks like PLN to me....Reverse altar:  I am thinking Type 3D -- wreath with some type of cross... or is it a star?  (3C)?

Obvserse legend is IMP CONSTANTINVS AG -- London seems only mint to use this abbreviation - I am thinking RIC VII London 169... does anyone concur?  Is this a scarce issue?

The coin doesn't look too bad -- figures on reverse seem a bit crude, though... Opinions?

yes, it looks like like RIC VII London 169 (r4)

the altar has a wreath with a cross.
here is my London 168 for comparison, same as yours except for obverse legend

My coin was found in England and was part of the Langtoft II hoard.

This hoard was found on 24th September 2000. It consisted of 924 coins that were buried near an old Roman road, which runs through Langtoft, Yorkshire. The coins were mostly reduced folles from Constantine the Great and his family.Since the latest coin in the hoard dates to around 325 A.D., it is believed that the hoard was deposited circa 325.
