Two very rare Domitian denarii of 88-89 third issue
« on: October 14, 2015, 09:56:51 am »
In the period 88-89, during the war against German tribes, Domitian received four different acclamations.

Some of these succeeded in a very short span of time, with the result that some issues were extremely reduced. This is the case of the denarii bearing the eighteenth acclamation (IMPXVIII).

I've been lucky to get two and I'm glad to share them.

Kind regards

Alberto
