Flavius Victor

[Flav V]

Hello,

I search the coin of Flavius Victor referenced in RIC IX page 69, note n ° 29b. The RIC IX gives only the obverse legend. Source according to RIC IX: ''Pearce'', Pearce collection? There is this catalog: ''catalogue of the large and valuable collection of Greek, Roman, Saxon, English & Foreign Coins and Medals, the property of the late S. S. Pearce, Esq... : 27-31 October 1898 / Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge. Is it this source? I checked this catalog here and i dont find bronze coins: https://gallica.bnf.fr/ark:/12148/bd6t5370722w/f1.item

Could it be J W E Pearce? There are four coins of Flavius Victor from his collection bequeathed to the British Museum in 1951.

On pace xiv of RIC IX you find 2 hoards under PEARCE, J.W.E.
One of these could list the coin noted on pace 69.

I will go see that, thanks
