City?
« on: July 19, 2013, 07:04:04 am »
of this AE20 gr. 5.9 on the reverse reads almost all the legend, but I can not find anything like it in my opinion could be the name of some judge, to see only a straight Delata at 9 o'clock.
what I read is definitely the reverse: "πιcceπι ιο (or θ) γοn ". I do not know whether before or after there are other letters. I think straight to the Emperor Galba, but I'm not sure, the reverse should be dikaiosyne.
I thank those who help me.

Dear Roberto and Board,

Just noticed this very old post!  I also have one of these coins.  It is a rather whimsical issue of Perinthus in Thrace, struck for Trajan(!):

Hope this helps and that you see this answer, as late as it is.
