Hi!

I know this one is from Carthage with obv. head of Persephone left and rev. horse's head left with a palm tree behind. They seem to be of the following sizes:
- AE14, c. 2g
- AE18-20, c. 4 g
- AE29, c. 15 g
- AR24-27, c. 17 g.

Mine is an AE35 with a weight of 28 g. I am wondering what I am missing here or don't I just find one.

Regards,
Juke

In my eyes this is a modern fake of a tetradrachm like this: https://www.acsearch.info/search.html?id=8655335  :-\

Modern cast in the wrong metal of a silver tetradrachm.  Fake.

Hi Juke,

It is definitely a modern counterfeit. Not only is it the wrong metal, but it also has a raised rim on both sides. In other words, it is incused (concave) on both sides.

Well good to hear, I was wondering also about it and better to have the confirmation. It came in a lot so no relevant loss in sense of value. :)
