lead/tin Celt with heads
« on: April 08, 2005, 04:01:37 pm »
I have tried identification on the board elsewhere, but I should have come here straightaway, I suppose.
It's made of (probably) tin and measures 13 mms. It has the head of Mercury, with petasos on his head and on the other side a male? Gaulish? head, both to the right. It came to me in a lot, so I have no clue as to its provenance.
Any help welcome!
