Jochen:
Thank you both!
Jochen
clueless:
Well done, Jochen !
Incredible how prolific the mint was at Nicopolis :)
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the updated edition.
Cheers,

archivum:
Caracalla AE18, 3.02g, laur. draped cuir. bust r., AV KES ANTWN / Homonoia with patera and cornucopiae standing left, retrograde legend NIKOPOLI PROS ISTR -- actually sold as Philippopolis. Hr-H-J 8.18.36 v., Varbanov 2957 v. Although Jochen has noted other retrograde legends for this mint (https://www.forumancientcoins.com/board/index.php?topic=73689.msg462794#msg462794 and https://www.forumancientcoins.com/board/index.php?topic=52692.msg326971), I don't think that these dies get a reference in either Hr-H-J or Varbanov; corresponding to the description of a single Vienna specimen in AMNG 1597, there is one other specimen on WildWinds page http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/greece/moesia/nikopolis/i.html (from an H. J. Berk sale; second picture below).
Jochen:
Dear archivum!
Thank you for your contribution. But I think this type is already listed under HrHJ (2018) 8.18.36.14. I have added the coins from my Collection, sadly in worse state than the ones depicted in your post.
Jochen
archivum:
Thanks, Jochen; one day I must buy your new edition!
