We have to be very careful, there are 2 different kinds of crystallisation.
Some metals like silver can start to crystallize depending on temperature, environment and they
alloy (how much silver is in the
alloy), this will really take a very long time to happen.
And there is another crytallisation, related to the cooling down process, I think it will occour if the metal cooled down too fast.
This crytallisation can be found on gold and silver bars and blancks and on
cast fakes. And I was told about casted "Blumengeld" with this surface.
Imho the crystallisation is here from fast cooling down.
Another
crystallized cast fake, auther did not understand that the crystallisation was there already from casting and has not been prduced later.
