I just joined.

I realize it is to early to ask questions before educating my self. But help is always welcomed

Nothing suspicious at all. You should have a reason to suspect it before you suspect it.

Thank you all

The reason I am suspicious is because I have zero knowledge in this field.

I bought them from one person that met and I don't know. He sold me 28 pcs for $300. Most of them are very small. There are 4 coins slightly larger than the dollar, and the remaining smaller than a penny.

Try Focas or Phocas.  Good luck!

That's a very good reason to be suspicious.   The "cure" is to try to learn before you buy.  Do not buy coins simply because someone is selling coins. Many people post on this board because they are worried that they were ripped off. Only buy coins from someone know you can trust or because you have enough knowledge about the coins.

Educating yourself to authenticate ancient coins takes a good bit of time and effort. Most collectors never really get good enough to do it entirely on their own. Know the coin or know the seller. You don't know the coin, so you need to rely on the seller. Buy only from sellers you know are reliable and have the expertise to authenticate for you.

I would suggest you buy coins one at a time from dealers recognized for their honesty.
