And while honored, I think all the other nominees are more deserving than I am :)

To be mentioned in such an August group is an honor, even if my name is missing an "e" :)

And to Jay, who if I understand the rules, also is entitled.  Sad to see from Joe's post that the election was fixed, however!

Jay is a perfect member , but that is not a wise thing to say James , Jay Grande (Jay GT4) himself will not agree with you , options ( I mean the extensions - due to the small number of voters comparing to total number of FORVM members )  were available for all member.

**Jay Grande (Jay GT4)  is not a  part or a subject in my post in a harm way  , he is a well respected member and a great friend .

Henriette - see the Reply #3 on Feb 9...I think James was just trying to make a joke.

Dear James, Henriette, and Board,

*When Joe wrote "Fixed, sorry," he meant Jay's name only!  It was just a "Grand" mistake.

And yes, I am so happy to see Jay as this year's Tribunus Plebis for 2021!  Like Shawn, he is a fixture of Forvm, which would be a different, sadder world without.  Also very thankful for everyone else that was nominated, including Ron who was miraculously squeezed in at the last minute.

Best regards,

Mark Fox

*Followup:  You are probably right, Steve!  Very clever, James

Congrats to the winners and all the nominees, what a great group. I can honestly say I would probably not be collecting ancient coins or I at least wouldn't be at the level I have so far achieved without all of you, as well as many others.
