Help with Drachm of Alexander III
« on: July 22, 2012, 06:46:40 pm »
I generally do not buy Greek coins as I know so little about them.  I think they are beautiful though, so when this coin became available at a decent price from a trusted dealer (I've putchased a lot of Roman coins from this dealer), I jumped in without researching first.  Now I'm having trouble identifying the monogram and attributing the coin.  I think the monogram might be Arados.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much.  I would still be looking if it wasn't for your assistance.  Looking on wildwinds at Price 1505, I believe we have a match.  Thanks again
