Published a Corpus of the tetradrachms minted by Perseus of Macedon

(1/6) > >>

FEDERICO D:
Perseus was the last king of Macedonia, the one who dared to challenge the power of Rome and lost the bet. He has minted many tetradrachms which have now been analyzed in this Corpus which classifies 308 different tretradrachms obtained from 63 obverse dies and 272 reverse dies. The most complete previous study on the subject, which however remained unpublished, presented 205 tetradrachms obtained from 58 obverse dies and 116 reverse dies.
