Ancient Beads
« on: April 28, 2013, 11:02:32 am »
Hi Folks,

I also have an interest in ancient Egyptian beads (and other ancient beads) and wonder if anyone here enjoys them, too.
I like to "play" with them and reproduce ancient Egyptian beading techniques. Some of my projects have clasps because my wife enjoyed wearing them. Here is an example. The elements date from the late Third Intermediate Period to the Late Period. The utchat measures 1.4 cm in height and the overall length is 41 cm.
