I would like to congratulate the nominees and thank them for their contribution to this community.

*Jochen, maridvnum, and Steve Minnoch were selected in previous years and are eligible for Tribunus Plebis Perpetuus.  If any of them receive the highest number of votes they will be awarded Perpetuus status.

Good luck !

I too cannot seem to find the way to offer a vote!
There are no buttons to click, and no options to select.
I have clicked the graphs icon, the names, etc., etc., without success.
Is there something I am missing (as it seems are others).
Could perhaps partly explain why so few have voted.
What are we doing wrong?

(. . . or did I already vote and the option no longer presents itself?)

I think that the time limit for voting may well have passed and therefore the vote is complete. In which case I would like to congratulate Jochen on his well deserved victory.

Martin

I, too, would like to congratulate Jochen! Fully deserving!
When will we see an 'official' announcement?

The title has been awarded. Jochen now has the title Tribunus Plebis Perpetuus and Pscipio accordingly has the title Tribunus Plebis 2009.

Congratulations to you both and many thanks for your immense contributions to the boards.
Best regards,
Martin

Congratulations to Jochen for being selected as Tribunus Plebis for a second  time.  As a two-time recipient of this honor he is awarded the title Tribunus Plebis Perpetuus.  This is the greatest honor our members can bestow.  Thank you Jochen on behalf of FORVM and all the members of the board for your generous assistance and contributions to this community!

When a member or members are awarded the title Tribunus Plebis Perpetuus (male) or Tribuna Plebis Perpetua (female), the member with the highest number of votes who has not previously been recognized as Tribunus Plebis or Tribuna Plebis is awarded the title Tribunus Plebis (male) or Tribuna Plebis (female).

Congratulations Lars Rutten (Pscipio), our Tribunus Plebis 2009!  Thanks on behalf of FORVM and all our members for your outstanding and unique contributions to this community.  I am pleased that we are able to recognize you for the support and education you have provided to all the collectors that share our ongoing classical numismatics discussion.  Congratulations Lars for your well deserved award!

I want to thank all voters for this great honour even if their circle is very small indeed.  And I think I could be a bit proud to be the first amateur after such illustrious scholars like Curtis Clay and Pat Lawrence. While the title sounds slightly like Dictator Perpetuus I hope that there will be no Brutus to cause me the same fate ;) And congrats to all other nominees especially to Lars for his highly deserved title.

Congratulations to you Jochen for a so well deserved tittle. You're know entering the Pantheon of numismatists  :)

And special congratulations to you, Lars, for being elected tribunus plebis 2009. As you were the one I nominated, it's a great pleasure to see your kindness, helpfulness and knowledge recognized by our community

Being the runner-up only, I don't think I really deserve the title tribunus plebis 2009. Nonetheless, I'd like to thank those who nominated me, and all the members who make this forum so interesting day by day. Despite the titles and ranks granted to some, I think it is the community in total that makes this an important place in the world of numismatics.

Congratulations to Jochen for winning the vote, and a special thanks to Martin, who placed third in the vote but actually gives much more to the community than I do, especially with his fake detection work.
