Geta PROVID DEORVM cuirassed

I have waited some time to get a good enough example of this common type for Geta but this has the
added bonus of having the un-listed cuirassed bust style.

BMC quotes a specimen in the Ashmolean museum and I have found one other example so far from a past auction.

I list three draped and cuirassed specimens in my type catalogue of denarii, which is certainly very incomplete in its record of such minor bust varieties: the Oxford spec. reported by BMC and two sold by Lanz on eBay in 2009 and 2012.

I acquired the Lanz 2009 coin; it seems to be from the same die pair as yours, but with both dies in a later, more worn, state.
