Probus, 276-282. Antoninianus (Bronze, 21 mm, 3.47 g, 12 h), Siscia, 279. IMP C PROBVS P F AVG Radiate and cuirassed bust of Probus to right. Rev. P M TRI P COS III P P / XXIQ Lion, radiate, advancing right, holding thunderbolt in his jaws. Alföldi 47/3. Cohen 457 corr. (reverse legend). Gysen -. RIC 616. Rare. A beautiful example with a charming lion on the reverse. Slightly rough, otherwise, about extremely fine.
