Interesting Byzantine Tesserae? 29.28 mm 20.75 g
« on: February 28, 2022, 08:04:09 am »

I just acquired an interesting item.  I think that it is a  Byzantine Tesserae?.  It measures 29.28 mm and weighs 20.75 g.  It is not a seal. It has been described to me as a "tessera, blessing ("eulogia") of a Church of Christ "Chalkites"  Any ideas as the verse on the reverse and its age would be appreciated.
