I did a fast look but could not find any.
The problem ist that many of the die links are not plausible (combining dies of different emperors and mints) and it is harder to searching for something you do not expect to exist.
I am not familar with these coins but I have noticed that there are many
roman Bronze coins (some are published in bulletin others have been condemned here etc.) which all share the same problems and so I am curious why. (same workshop and forger?)
The Characteristics are of which at least some and often all are found on these
fakes:
1. No
patina or artificial patina/toning
2. ghost lines which look like the end of a
planchet and incompelte dotted
border 3. damaged letters and soft details
4. impossible die links (only some have)
5. strange looking
style and details (possibly wrong recut details)
what about starting a
thread and posting all
Roman AE
fakes with this characteristics?
I think that they are recut transfer or only die
fakes, which would explain the ghost lines, if you cut dies you will always cut a compelte dotted
border and even on many transfer dies the dotted
border is recut becasue it is really easy to do so other details are much much much much much much much harder to recut that it looks ok.
