Just looked at those auction listings. I am curious as to how you found those. Was there a way to find them without knowing that the auctions took place? Looking at what I have seen so far, my weight is a bit low, but the size would indicate to me this is a chalkous rather than a hemichalkon. Even the smaller hemichalkon are heavier in weight than mine. I am heading back to Rogers for a further look, but one question I have is does anyone know what the second number means in his listings (the number between the item number and the coin description). One downside of a PDF is looking for legends, etc. I haven't found it. For example, there is a .7 after Item 294. Those BCD catalogs are very cool.
Thanks again,
Virgil

Hi Virgil. The second number I'd think is size (I'm not sure what units). He says on Page 2 "While the greatest care has been taken to indicate the size of the coins, their weight has been entirely ignored".

Steven,
That makes sense, I think, maybe he is using inches. I had forgotten to include the screenshot I took.
Thanks for your response.

There is an overview on the BCD auctions on Numiswiki :): https://www.forumancientcoins.com/numiswiki/view.asp?key=bcd%20collection

Yes, inches, as e.g. in the BMC volumes as well.
