Black Sea Hoard page updated
« on: September 30, 2002, 09:47:58 pm »
I've updated my "Black Sea Hoard (Apollonia Pontika)" fakes page.

http://www.snible.org/coins/black_sea_hoard.html

I'm pretty sure that at least some Black Sea dies have been modified, additional features added, and used to strike coins recently.  Examine the coins closely.

I also show two Apollonia fakes, not Black Sea Hoard, on my Apollonia page.  http://www.snible.org/coins/ap.html .  The last one is quite odd (to me) because it has a Parion reverse.
