Real barbaric or modern fake?

(1/2) > >>

COINS FAN:
Hello,

I dont like the patina of those coins. Wich is same than many modern fakes of low quality. The weight of the three coins are: 2.52 grs, 1.75 grs and 2.01 grs.

Real barbarous or fake?

*Alex:
Going by the photos they look real enough to me.

Alex.

COINS FAN:
Thank you, im glad if its not modern.

In reality the coin are exactly like on the photo.

Arados:
Do you know if the coins were found together or in the vicinity of each other ?

If the coins were found over a wide radius, I would also find it odd that they have the same patina. Possible candidate for artificial patination ?

Roma_Orbis:
Typical late official AE4s, I don't see any problem with them. These surfaces are typical of coins from a large group, probably from the East (dry conditions : Near East, Egypt, ...).
