Nice one!  Usually Venus is shown in that pose on a column but from behind.  It's a very "thick" woman :)

Securitas is also shown in a similar pose on a coin of Probus.  However, I am wondering about the lines along the sides of the "column" on the gem.  Could this be a quiver or some other attribute, maybe of Hercules?

It very well could be Hercules.  It's a very masculine figure.  It's the pose that is throwing me off though.
