With LΔ for the regnal year 4 on the obverse and no lituus on the reverse it is this variant from Claudius: https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coins/1/5145

Hi. I got this follis and I would need your help to identify it:
Is it Phocas & Leontia over a follis of Maurice Tiberius? Is it NIKO?

Hi mb,

It looks like an Egypt, Alexandria coin, with Messalina on the reverse.

The reverse looks like a large K with ANNO written vertically to the left meaning this is a Byzantine half-folis

Other Metal Antiquities / Help with bronze fragment

This little bronze object, a fragment of something (bracelet??), does anyone have an idea about what it is and date? Don´t know much about its origin, might be east Europe.

I pretty much finished uploading the rest of my Greek collection this evening! We've got everything from mid-5th century silver to late Hellenistic bronze - including some rarities and an ex-BCD Collection hemidrachm.

Thessaly, Trikka hemidrachm - ex BCD Collection:

The obligatory Alexander the Great lifetime drachm. Every collection needs one!

An impressively thick and chunky silver coin (stater or double-shekel) struck under Alexander's satraps in Babylon:

A nice portrait bronze coin of Pompey the Great, struck after 66 BC:

And just so the Romans don't feel too left out, I also upgraded the photos for my Roman Imperial Claudius as (LIBERTAS AVGVSTA). One of my collection favorites, with a 45-year provenance:

I've still got quite a few coins to upload so stay tuned!  ;) Thanks for looking!

I cannot read Greek legends and the portrait does not look familiar.

Any help with this one would be appreciated.

Thank you
